Your next project shouldn't start with the same setup routine. Craft scaffolds your web projects and configures the tools you choose, so you can spend less time on boilerplate and more time building.

Why Craft exists

You're not short on ideas. You're stuck setting things up.

New project, same commands. Same dependencies. Same configuration. Before the real work even begins.

01

The setup repeats

Create a project, install packages, configure linting, set up formatting. Then do it all again for the next idea.

02

The boring work adds up

Your time goes into wiring tools together instead of building the feature you actually wanted to work on.

03

Every project starts from zero

You already know your preferred stack. Why repeat the same setup decisions every single time?

The story behind Craft

I built Craft because I was tired of setting up the same things over and over.

Every new project came with another round of scaffolding, dependencies, configuration files, and tooling. I wanted to spend more time building products and less time repeating the setup process.

So I started building Craft — a CLI that brings those repetitive steps into one workflow, letting me choose a stack and get a project ready for development.

How it works

Three steps.Then you're building.

From choosing your stack to generating your project, Craft brings the repetitive setup steps into one workflow.

01↗

Choose your stack

Pick a framework, choose TypeScript or JavaScript where supported, select a database, and decide which development tools you need.

Your framework. Your configuration.

02↗

Craft handles the setup

Craft runs the framework scaffolder, prepares your selected configuration, stages generated files, and checks for conflicts before merging.

Less repetitive setup. Fewer manual steps.

03↗

Start building

Once generation and dependency installation finish, your project is ready for you to inspect, run, and develop further.

From a command to your next project.

Is Craft for you?

The right tool for the right workflow.

Craft is built for developers who repeat the same setup process. Here's where it helps—and where it doesn't.

Craft is for you if...

  • You start projects frequently

You'd rather generate your usual stack than repeat the same setup commands every time.

  • You know your preferred stack

Next.js, Vite, or Express. Pick your framework, database, and tools without wiring everything manually.

  • You want a consistent setup

Keep familiar development tools and configuration across projects without starting from scratch.

  • You'd rather build than configure

Spend less time on boilerplate and get to the features you actually want to ship.

Craft may not be for you if...

  • You enjoy configuring everything yourself

If manually setting up every project is part of your workflow, Craft may not add much value.

  • You need an unsupported stack

Craft currently focuses on Next.js, Vite, and Express—not every framework or language.

  • You expect a complete application

Craft scaffolds and configures a project. It doesn't build your product features for you.

  • You expect authentication to be fully implemented

Authentication setup provides packages and guidance, but you may still need to implement the actual flow.
